WHAT IS CAMP SOCIAL?

Camp Social is a women’s-only sleep away camp weekend that brings over 300 women from around the world together to connect IRL. 99% arrive solo, and 100% leave as friends. It’s part nostalgia, part utopia and complete magic. Expect the best weekend of your adult life-filled with laughter, friendship, and maybe a few happy tears.

It’s for anyone craving connection. Whether you’re 22 or 62, single or married, shy or social-butterfly-in-recovery-Camp Social was built for women who want to meet new friends in a real, fun, feel-like-a-kid-again space. All you have to do is show up with a smile and willingness to meet new friends.

WHERE IS CAMP SOCIAL?

Equinunk, Pennsylvania- a lakeside property with stunning views, cozy cabins, and all the nostalgic touches of summer camp.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

We offer round-trip buses from NYC and a detailed arrival guide for those driving in. Once you’re here, everything is walkable (and there’s always someone new to stroll with). We also have partner hotels for our campers who fly in ( half of Camp Social flies in, half drives and/or takes the bus).

CAN I ACTUALLY COME SOLO?

Absolutely. 99% of campers arrive solo and 100% leave as friends, and with a new group chat that lasts all year. Camp Social is literally designed to make meeting girlfriends of all ages easy (and fun). Come with an open mind, a young at heart attitude, and we take care of the rest.

DO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES ACTUALLY COME?

YES! THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT ON FUN. We are proud to share that our most popular age groups are all ages- our eldest camper has been 83 ( we want a centaurian!) Our bunks of women in their forties to sixties are some of our most spirited campers, and we've seen intergenerational friendships occur with women of all ages. You will be bunked by age in general housing, or you can elect for a private room to be solo. We are activity based and do not travel around camp in our bunks, which means you make friends at every turn, activity, and meal.

I HAVE SOCIAL ANXIETY - WILL I FEEL COMFORTABLE

Yes. Our camp culture is built on kindness and inclusivity. We know how nerve-wracking it can be to show up alone, which is why our staff and counselors are trained to make every moment feel welcoming. You’ll never sit alone at meals, and you’ll always have a built-in crew to join. Within hours of arrival, you’ll forget you ever worried.

Shared Bunks (the real Camp Social experience)

If you want the true Camp Social magic, this is it.

You’ll bunk with 8-10 women your age, and yes, this is where the inside jokes, late-night convos, and “we met at camp” friendships are born.

Every bunk comes with:

  • Showers + bathrooms inside (no trekking anywhere )
  • Shampoo, conditioner & body wash provided
  • Linens (sheets, pillows, blankets)
  • Outlets for phones, hair tools, and your Stanley

It’s nostalgic, cozy, and chaotic in the cutest possible way – truly the heart of Camp Social.

Private Rooms

A limited number of private rooms are available for anyone who prefers a little extra quiet at night. You’ll still be steps from all the fun - just with your own door to close when you’re ready to recharge.

Camp Social is just 2.5 hours from New York City and super easy to get to, whether you're coming from across the country or across the river.

Flying in?

We recommend booking your flight into EWR (Newark) or JFK (New York). Both airports offer easy Uber, Lyft, or yellow cab rides straight into Manhattan.

Once you arrive in NYC, you can stay at one of our official Camp Social hotel partners, like the Frederick Hotel (code CAMPSOCIAL), where tons of other campers stay - so you start making friends before camp even begins.

Getting to Camp

You have two options:

1. Take the Official Camp Social Bus

Our round-trip Camp Social buses depart from Manhattan and head straight to camp. It's the easiest, most social option - 99% of campers arrive solo, and the bus is where the friendships start. Bus ticket add-on included in ticketing.

2. Drive Yourself

Camp Social is 2.5 hours from NYC, located in Equinunk, Pennsylvania. Free parking is available on-site at camp for any campers who choose to drive.

Camp Social Transportation Made Easy

  • If you're flying in, simply take an Uber/cab to our NYC hotel partner, then meet us at the Camp Social bus pickup!
  • If you prefer a solo singalong drive, feel free to drive and park at camp.
  • Bus spots must be reserved in advance via our camp ticketing -  we’ll send out pickup times and details as camp gets closer.
