More Than a Typical Women’s Retreat
Camp Social offers more than most women’s retreats because it was created for modern, social women who want wellness and fun — not one or the other.
You'll still have morning yoga, quiet time by the lake to recharge, and workshops when you want them, with no pressure to fill every minute. Call it a women's wellness retreat where the yoga mat and the climbing wall share the same weekend.

Who It's For
Camp Social is built for women arriving on their own, from their 20s through their 50s and well beyond. Our oldest camper so far was 83, and we mean it when we say every age is welcome. Whether you're newly divorced, an empty-nester, new to a city, or just at a stage where making real friendships feels harder than it used to, you'll meet women who came looking for exactly what you're looking for.
Camp Social is located in the Poconos in Equinunk, PA, but we welcome women from across the country. Many travel from New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, but others fly from the West Coast to meet like-minded women and forge new friendships.
The Camp Social Difference
Because our campers arrive with aligned intention – 99% arrive solo, and 100% leave as friends. We're not just a camp with activities on a schedule - we are a community that you belong to. Every moment is designed to feel fun, safe, nostalgic, and genuinely uplifting.
The one carefree place in adulthood where you can truly feel like...yourself.
Women's Retreats FAQ
What is a women's retreat?
A women's retreat is a getaway built around connection, rest, and doing something for yourself alongside other women. Some center wellness and workshops; others center play and friendship. Camp Social is the camp version: three days of horseback riding, lake days, yoga, evening bonfires, and chef-prepared meals, with hundreds of new friends and none of the planning.
Is a women's retreat good for solo travelers?
Yes. About 99% of Camp Social campers arrive on their own, so you'll be in very good company. The whole weekend is built for women who show up solo and leave with a group text that's still going strong months later.
What should I pack for a women's retreat?
Pack comfortable clothes you can move around in, a swimsuit for the heated pool and lake, layers for the evening bonfires, and closed-toe shoes for activities like horseback riding and the climbing wall. Everything else, from your meals to your cabin, is already taken care of.
How much does a women's retreat cost?
Women's retreats vary widely depending on length, location, and what's included. Shorter day retreats sit at the lower end, while multi-day all-inclusive retreats that cover lodging, meals, and activities run higher. Camp Social is fully all-inclusive, so one booking covers your cabin, chef-prepared meals, and every activity across the weekend. A Camp Social weekend costs $999.
What's included in the price?
One booking covers everything for the weekend: your cabin, all your chef-prepared meals, and every activity and evening event. There's nothing to plan and no add-ons to buy once you arrive.
That covers the lake and the heated pool, yoga and workshops, horseback riding, archery, the climbing wall and high ropes, and the bonfires and dance parties at night.
Where is Camp Social located?
Camp Social is in Equinunk, Pennsylvania, tucked into the Pocono Mountains on a lakeside property with cabins and classic camp views. It's about 3 hours from New York City, 3.5 to 4 hours from Philadelphia, and roughly 5 hours from Boston or Washington, DC.
We run round-trip buses from NYC, and if you're flying, the closest airports are Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AVP) and Greater Binghamton (BGM), both about an hour to 90 minutes away. You'll find full arrival details on our locations page.
How long is a weekend, and when are the 2027 dates?
Each Camp Social runs as a three-day weekend. For 2027, we've got two of them: one in early June and one in late August. Tickets go on sale September 27, 2026, so sign up for the waitlist to get notified the moment they're live.
Can I come alone?
Yes, and it's how most women do it. About 99% of our campers book solo, so nearly everyone around you arrived the same way, without a friend group or a plan in tow.
You won't have to organize anything or work to find your people. The weekend is set up so the woman in the next bunk is just as open to new friends as you are. That's the whole point.
